About Me

Hi, I’m Tiphaine, the face behind Maison Braidologiste.

My love for hair started long before Maison Braidologiste existed. Ever since I was little, I’ve always been drawn to braiding. At around 4 years old, I was already playing in doll hair, creating little styles and trying different braid patterns. Hair has always been something that came naturally to me.

I was born in Africa and moved to Canada when I was 12 years old. Braiding became a way for me to stay connected to culture, creativity, and self-expression. Since then, I’ve continued developing my craft and turning something I genuinely loved into a business built with passion and intention.

I started my page at a young age because I wanted to show my talent and prove that with determination, nothing is really impossible. Even while I was still young, I was braiding adults who trusted me with their hair and genuinely loved the results. That motivated me to keep going and take my work more seriously.

Building Maison Braidologiste has also shown me that age does not define whether you can start a business or follow your passion. You simply need discipline, consistency, and the willingness to stay focused on your goals even when things get difficult.

I’ve always loved clean parts and boho styles. I pay attention to detail because I truly believe the smallest details make the biggest difference. I also value punctuality, communication, and mutual respect with my clients. I do my best to make every appointment feel smooth, welcoming, and worth your time.

My goal will always be to provide the best experience possible while creating styles that make my clients feel beautiful and confident when they leave my chair.
